Two Products to Help Combat Dry Winter Skin & Lips

Hello everyone! We’ve reached another Sunday which means it’s time for me to share more great itemsI’ve recently found with you all. As we transition into Spring, I have wanted to rejuvenate my skin the past few weeks in order to prep it for the change of seasons. My skin and lips have been extremely dry and chapped and I have found two products that are helping me get my skin back on track.

Lip Brush & Carrying Case

A couple of weeks ago I was walking through Sephora on the hunt to try and find a good lip product that would help my lips stop being so chapped from the dry winter temperatures and help them become soft and supple once again. I stumbled across the Laneige section of the store and saw that the Lip Sleeping Mask was their “best seller”, so I of course had to pick it up and try it our for myself. The original “flavor” or “scent” is the one that I ended up picking up over the Vanilla Lip Sleeping Mask. The original smells so good it’s unbelievable – it’s like a concoction of berries (blueberry, strawberry, and other great things!) and is just extremely pleasing. The texture of the lip mask is a bit thick, but once you rub it on your lips it melts into a balm texture that is super hydrating and soothing. Although this is a “sleeping mask” I do reapply this during the day because of the amazing affect it has on my lips. My lips have never felt or looked better. This lip mask has done wonders to help my lips go from being dry and chapped to being smooth again! I also love the fact that this product comes with a little spatula or lip brush that you can use to scoop the product out of the unit; it comes in handy since I use this item every time I use the lip mask instead of dipping my finger into the product. I wouldn’t recommend using your fingers to dig out the product because you may have bacteria on your hands or fingernails that will contaminate the lip mask – so be sure to use the little brush they give you for free!

For my skin, I have been in love with the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cannabis & Oat Dry Oil. I was lucky enough to have met an amazing girl in one of my marketing classes who was kind enough to let me try this product out since she works for FAB! I was not obliged to write this review and wasn’t sure if I wanted to mention this product at all, but after seeing the magic it has worked on my skin, I knew I had to talk about it. I have combination skin which tends to get drier during the winter months, and I have had skin flakes all over my face recently – until this! I love the smell of this – it is very relaxing. I typically apply this in the morning and at night if my skin is extremely dry or only once at night if my skin is slightly more oily. I have seen a dramatic increase in the texture of my skin. It has been extremely glowy and looks super hydrated after applying this product onto my face! It’s also stated on their website that you can use this in the ends of your hair, but I haven’t done that yet. I take three drops of the oil into my hands and start to rub them together in order to get the oil a bit warm. I tend gently press the product into my skin. I was worried when I used this at first because I was afraid that it wouldn’t skin in and that I’d be left with an oily film on my face – but that never happened. I have been using this everyday and don’t know what I would have done if I had never been introduced to this product in this first place since it is now such a staple for me!

Are there any products that have saved your winter skin and/or lips? Let me know down below! I will talk to you all next week 😊
